Rwanda sweeps 5 cups and all gold medals from 2010 Sitball World Cup in Kampala/UgandaOn this Sunday 14th November, 2010 at 3.00pm in Lugogo MTN Arena, Kampala City/Uganda started the final matches for the third edition of Sitball World Cup named "2010 Sitball World Cup Men & Women in Kampala/Uganda". For men category the champion team is Rwanda A after a very close score of 21-20 against Germany. 14 minutes of game ended within a difference of 1 point which confirmed and gave Rwanda A a title of 2010 Sitball World Cup Champion. For women category, Rwanda scored 33-8 for Uganda on final match and get the title of women Champion. In addition to Gold medals and team Cups, some individual had awarded as follow:
In this World Cup which started from 11th - 14th November, 2010, 8 teams for men and 3 teams for women participated; Burundi Men and Women, DRC (Men), Germany, Rwanda A & B, Rwanda Women, Suisse, Uganda A & B and Uganda Women. This 3rd edition had the speciality of having for the first time women playing Sitball on international level, and International Siball Organisation (ISBO) has a plan of developing Sitball and encrease the number of countries playing this sport. On 13th November, 2010 at Uganda National Sport Councel held the General Assembly of International Sitball Organisation (ISBO) which resulted the 1st committee. 12 participants from different countries which have Sitball, elected following people to head the International Sitball Organisation (ISBO):
