RWANDA will host the Sub-Saharan Sitting Volleyball Competition![]() From 22nd to 27th November, 2011 at Petit Stade Amahoro and NPC Gymnasium will be hosting the Sub-Saharan Sitting Volleyball Competition. This competition will qualify the winner to London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games which will start in August 2012. Participating countries are: Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, DR Congo, Cameroun, Nigeria, Zambia and Namibia. Here below are competition dates:- Arrival of International Technical Board : 22nd November, 2011 - Arrival of referees and classifiers : 22nd November, 2011 - Arrival of all teams (delegations) : 22nd November, 2011 - Classification and teams training day : 23rd November, 2011 - Competition days : 24th – 27th November, 2011 - Departure : 28th November, 2011 ![]() NPC Rwanda supported by MIJESPOC (Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture) and WOVD (World Organisation of Volleyball for people with Disability) is organising the event. Thursday 22nd September, NPC Rwanda set up the Local Organising Committee headed by Elie MANIRARORA. This committee will have meetings every Tuesday evening for making sure that the competition is well organised. Local Organizing Committee Members "Up to now, there are some companies who confirmed their support and involvement in event. Those include: Pfunda Tea, VSO, ICM Rwanda, Social Security Fund and HE High Commissioner /British High Commission in Rwanda" said by Elie MANIRARORA.
